Doing the Muddy Buddy series in Detroit with my Brother in-law. Got together this weekend to see how he was doing before we signed up for the race. He has made some good strides. If he adjusts his bike like I suggested he might get even faster.

Mothers Day Ride

What Illinois lacks in hills, it certainly makes up for in wind resistance. After a LARGE Mother’s Day brunch, and the whole house being in Nap mode, I took the bike out for a ride. Slower than I wanted, but its also the first real ride of the year. Wind was brutal on the second half, plus got turned around a few times when I ran into dirt roads. Legs were soar right after, but only lasted a few hours.

Stuck working at home because my sons school district is shut down for fear of the Swine flu. So I took him for a bike ride at lunch. Not physically demanding, but good to enjoy some fresh air.
