Muddy Buddy training part 2

After the bike we did a little trail running. Painfully slow for me, but I kept telling myself this is for him, not me. He did good and I don’t think I left him too much pain.
Signed up later that afternoon for the race. With his weight we qualify for the BEAST division. Should be interesting.

Doing the Muddy Buddy series in Detroit with my Brother in-law. Got together this weekend to see how he was doing before we signed up for the race. He has made some good strides. If he adjusts his bike like I suggested he might get even faster.

8.5 miles isn’t usually considered a long run, but thats usually all I have time for. Took my parents dog for a run the first two miles and then went out by myself.

Trail Run

Caught up with an old friend and did a relaxing trail run in Michigan.  Good way to catch on old times and new events in our lives.  Ran at Kensington Metro Park outside of Detroit, MI.  Good trails with more hills than all of IL. :)
